Billions of people globally love to play and watch Cricket but extreme weather events such as flooding, decreasing air quality, rising temperatures and energy costs are threatening the future of our sport and planet.
Cricket can lead the way on climate solutions and create change that benefits everyone. We want the next generations to continue experiencing the joys of our planet and cricket now and into the future.
Cricket for Climate is a player led movement. We believe that creating practical change through cricket – and our communities – starts with each of us. We lead climate solutions by connecting and collaborating with cricket communities, fans, global associations, business, government, and other sports to create a better future for all.
Net Zero cricket
We’re working to protect cricket ecosystems and transition more than 3,700 community cricket clubs and major venues to be carbon-negative, water positive, zero waste.
Climate leadership
We’re supporting the cricket community - players, community club presidents, volunteers and global associations - to become leaders on climate communication and solutions.
Global action
We’re engaging with millions of cricket fans and global bodies to share the impacts of climate on our game, educate on environmental, social and economic benefits of climate solutions, and inspire climate action.
